Tracking units built for recovery, backed by a 24/7 control room that coordinates the response the moment a vehicle is reported stolen.
Authorised DigitFMS Franchise | Midrand | Gauteng
Digit PRS helps mines, farms and forestry operators claim the full SARS diesel refund. We review the past two years for under-claimed litres, prepare and submit claims, support SARS audits and disputes, and fit DigitFMS fuel monitoring so every litre is on record, alongside the full DigitFMS tracking and security range.
What we offer in Midrand
Every solution below is installed and supported by our local Midrand team, from a single vehicle to a full site security system.
Tracking units built for recovery, backed by a 24/7 control room that coordinates the response the moment a vehicle is reported stolen.
Real-time GPS tracking, trip history and driver behaviour monitoring on the Digit Web platform, so fleet owners can see where every vehicle is and how it is being driven.
In-tank fuel sensors that report live tank levels and alert on sudden drops, so siphoning, short fills and unexplained consumption show up immediately.
In-cab and road-facing cameras with AI driver monitoring, collision and lane alerts, and live footage for incident review and dispute resolution.
Low-light and thermal camera systems with continuous recording for sites and vehicles that operate after dark.
Ajax-based wireless alarm systems with fast detection, photo-verified alerts and app control, installed by DigitFMS as an authorised Ajax installer.
AI-assisted CCTV that detects people and vehicles rather than shadows, combined with biometric and tag access control that logs every entry.
Active deterrent systems that fill a protected area with chilli pepper or security fog within seconds of a verified intrusion, before response teams arrive.
Trained control room operators watch cameras and alarms around the clock, so every event gets a verified human response instead of a guess.
Robotic surveillance units that patrol yards, perimeters and large sites with real-time alerts, covering ground that fixed cameras cannot.
Live tank levels, authorised dispensing and theft alerts for bulk tanks and bowsers, giving depots an auditable record of every litre in and out.
Leak sensors paired with an automatic shut-off valve that closes the water supply the moment a leak is detected.
Covert and rapid-deployment devices for assets that conventional vehicle tracking cannot reach, including motorbikes, cargo doors and portable assets.
Digit Finance puts tracking, cameras and alarms on one monthly plan, so businesses can protect assets now without upfront capital.
Fleet and goods-in-transit cover arranged through leading insurers, with installed tracking and security forming part of the risk profile.

FAQ
VAT-registered businesses that buy and use diesel themselves in a qualifying activity: on-land farming, forestry and mining, plus certain offshore, electricity-generation, rail and harbour activities. Since 18 September 2026 you also need to be registered on SARS's new diesel refund registration system on eFiling, which is separate from your VAT registration.
The refund covers the fuel levy and Road Accident Fund levy portion of the diesel price on eligible litres, not the full pump price. From 1 April 2026, on-land farming, forestry and mining operators can claim 100% of eligible litres, up from 80%. Diesel used on public roads doesn't qualify.
Yes. Refunds can be claimed up to two years after the diesel was bought, so Digit PRS reviews your purchases and claims from that period for eligible litres that were missed or under-claimed, and prepares the claims to recover them.
Most often because the records don't hold up. Typical problems are estimated splits between eligible and non-eligible use, logbooks completed after the fact, dipstick readings, and supplier invoices that don't match recorded usage. SARS can recover refunds it decides weren't supported, with penalties and interest. Digit PRS supports clients through SARS audits and objections.
Fuel sensors in vehicles and on bulk tanks record every delivery, dispense and litre used with the date, the vehicle and its location. That gives you purchase, storage and usage records that are generated automatically instead of written by hand, and it shows theft or losses at the same time.
